Fallacy of Exclusion
classification : informal – inductive fallacy
When important evidence which would undermine an inductive argument is excluded from consideration.
Foundations
Not including all relevant information in any argument renders it fundamentally flawed by absence of information essential to supporting claims.
Examples
Iraq has an arsenal of weaponry that must be destroyed.
The Dolphins will probably win this game because they’ve won nine out of their last ten.
